FAQ

Launch timing, linked users, the trial, band changes, and grants the short answers.

When can I install Queuebird?

Soon — Queuebird is in private pilot ahead of public launch. Join the waitlist and you'll get exactly one email when installs open; that's the only thing the list is ever used for.

Can my team get early access?

A small group of pilot teams is being onboarded ahead of launch. If yours wants in, write to support@queuebird.dev with a line about your team and how you review PRs today.

What's a "linked user"?

Someone who has run /qb link to connect their GitHub login. Linking is what powers personal queues and DMs, so it's the organic measure of who actually uses Queuebird. Your band is sized by the number of linked users, not your whole workspace.

Does not linking people save money?

Not really. Unlinked members don't count toward your band — but they also don't get the product: no shared queue in their App Home, no personal queue, no nudges or digests (a direct @-mention ask is the one DM that still reaches them), and /qb answers with a link-first prompt. Link everyone who reviews; the band follows actual use.

What can teammates who haven't linked GitHub do?

Three things: paste PR links in channels (those still land in the team queue), DM Queuebird a link to track it privately under TRACKING, and get a DM when someone asks them for a review by @-mention. Everything else unlocks the moment they run /qb link.

How does the trial work?

30 days of the full product, no card, starting automatically the first time someone runs /qb setup queue. Every feature is on from day one.

What happens when the trial ends?

The queue pauses until you subscribe — nothing is deleted while Queuebird stays installed, and subscribing picks up exactly where you left off. Evaluating slowly, waiting on procurement, or just need more time? Email us — trial extensions are easy and human.

What happens when we cross a band?

Moving up takes effect immediately, prorated. Moving down takes effect at your next renewal. No mid-cycle downgrade charges, no surprises.

What if we're an OSS project that can't pay?

Free Team grants exist by request — contact support.

Where is pricing?

On the home page — one Team plan, sized by linked devs, monthly or annual.

Your team's PR reviews, finally in one queue — in Slack.
